xAmplify expands nationally as organisations rethink digital transformation in the AI era
Australian organisations are shifting away from standalone technology projects towards enterprise-wide operating model transformation as artificial intelligence changes how businesses invest in and use technology, according to xAmplify CEO Wayne Gowland.
“Most organisations have plenty of technology already. What they’re trying to work out now is how they make it all work together and get more value from what they’ve invested in,” Mr Gowland said.
Reflecting this shift, Australian-owned technology and transformation partner xAmplify has acquired Accelerate IT Solutions, one of Western Australia’s leading ServiceNow specialists, strengthening its national capability to help enterprise and government organisations move from technology implementation to lasting organisational transformation.
The acquisition establishes xAmplify’s presence in Western Australia, with plans to open an office in the region, creating a national business with more than 250 employees across five locations and expanding its ability to deliver larger, more strategic transformation programs nationwide.
Mr Gowland said organisations are increasingly looking for partners that could take accountability across the full transformation journey, rather than delivering individual technology projects.
“Customers don’t want to manage several different partners across strategy, platforms, cyber, change management and ongoing operations. They want one team that understands the bigger picture, brings those capabilities together and takes responsibility for the outcome.”
“Five years ago, the focus was on implementing new technology. Today it’s about helping organisations embed it into the way they operate. That’s where the real work is, and that’s where Accelerate IT Solutions strengthens our capability.”
“That’s also why we’ve kept investing in our ServiceNow practice. The platform sits at the centre of how many of our government and enterprise customers run their operations, and Accelerate IT Solutions deepens what we can deliver on it nationally.”
Accelerate IT Solutions has built one of Western Australia’s most respected ServiceNow practices, delivering complex transformation programs across government and enterprise.
Combined with xAmplify’s expertise across strategy and change, artificial intelligence, cyber security, managed services, cloud and enterprise platforms, the acquisition creates a broader national capability supporting organisations throughout the full transformation lifecycle, from strategy and implementation through to adoption, optimisation and ongoing operations.
It also deepens xAmplify’s national ServiceNow capability as organisations increasingly consolidate enterprise platforms to improve governance, visibility and operational efficiency while reducing the complexity of managing multiple vendors and disconnected systems.
John Boyland, Accelerate IT Services co-founder said the acquisition reflected the changing expectations of customers.
“Our clients still want deep technical expertise, but they also want a partner who understands how technology fits into the bigger picture of their organisation. Joining xAmplify means we can continue delivering the ServiceNow capability we’re known for while giving customers access to broader expertise across strategy, AI, organisational change, cyber security and managed services.”
“Most importantly, we found a partner whose culture and customer-first approach closely align with our own. That gives our people and our customers confidence about what’s next.”
The acquisition builds on a period of sustained growth for xAmplify. In the past year, the company has expanded through the acquisitions of CTO Group and Green Cloud Consulting, attracted continued investment from Macquarie Capital Principal Finance, been recognised as ServiceNow’s 2026 APAC Partner Award winner for Domain Expertise (Core Business), and become one of a select group of Asia Pacific partners to achieve ServiceNow’s Validated Practice designation for Customer Service Management.
Myia Ross, Group Vice President, APAC Partnerships and Channels at ServiceNow, said the acquisition strengthened capability available to Australian customers.
“Customers don’t want to deal with multiple handoffs between different teams handling implementation, change management, and ongoing operations. What xAmplify and Accelerate are building together is a single Australian team that can carry a ServiceNow program end-to-end, no matter where they are. And this is exactly what customers are telling us they need.”
Mr Gowland said the combined business reinforced xAmplify’s long-term vision of building Australia’s leading sovereign technology and transformation partner.
“Government and enterprise organisations are operating in increasingly complex environments. They need trusted Australian partners who can help them simplify that complexity, strengthen organisational capability and deliver transformation that lasts.”
“As AI reshapes every organisation, the organisations that pull ahead will be the ones that embed it into the way people work, make decisions and deliver better outcomes. That’s what the next chapter of digital transformation is really about.”
