Adopting xAmplify Digital Twins Platform to Optimise Performance

To optimise its pioneering technology, Green Gravity partnered with xAmplify to develop a digital twin using xAmplify’s Digital Twins Platform. This uniquely 100% Australian owned and operated platform uses  the world-leading NVIDIA Omniverse framework to deliver 3D workflows and applications that simulate real-world installations. 

The digital twin uses physics informed machine learning to accurately reflect the performance and future predictions of Green Gravity’s energy storage system. This complex process involved integrating engineering specifications, mining software, and data analysis to create a fully functional, high-fidelity, visualisation of the energy storage system.

The digital twin employs sensors, data analysis, simulation, machine learning, and reasoning to capture the performance and forecast future behavior of the system. By simulating the real-time functioning of the weight system, Green Gravity can maximise efficiency and output while minimising resource consumption and environmental impact.

The digital twin has been crucial for consolidating Green Gravity’s position as a leader in the renewable energy sector. By creating a  testbed for experimentation, xAmplify has enabled the rapid prototyping and validation of new ideas and technologies, allowing Green Gravity to implement innovative solutions with greater confidence and precision.  

Simulating real-world installations has also led to significant cost savings by reducing the need for physical prototypes and optimising the weight system’s configuration.
