xAmplify Wins Australian National Audit Office IT Managed Services Contract
CANBERRA, 2 September 2024 – xAmplify, Australia's leading automation systems and artificial intelligence (AI) integrator, has been appointed as the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO)’s primary IT Managed Services Provider.
The initial three-year contract, awarded via a competitive tender, is valued at over $7 million.
Tom Scicluna, Chief Operating Officer of xAmplify, said that this landmark agreement represents a major step forward in xAmplify's mission to modernise the public sector’s IT managed services landscape with a modern, agile, and automation-first approach.

The company's innovative service model, which includes collaboration with Canberra-based specialist A23 for infrastructure and cloud services, offers a sovereign, Australian-owned solution that is also best-of-breed. Key features of xAmplify's managed service model include:
- Agile and automated processes enabling collaboration with the customer on prioritisation.
- Transparency and control for the customer to direct operational activities and enhancement.
- Focus on automation to reduce operational costs and create room for innovation.
- Ongoing mechanisms for the customer to harvest reduced operational costs and/or increase enhancement activity output throughout the life of the engagement.
The collaboration between xAmplify and A23 in providing this service to the ANAO marks a significant milestone in the evolution of IT managed services in Australia, promising enhanced efficiency, innovation, and continually increasing value in government IT operations.
